Variable Speed Controller
The Variable Speed Controller provides simple, reliable control of your KCB Belt Conveyor while allowing the conveyor speed to be adjusted to suit different products and production requirements.
Each controller is fully wired and tested by KBR Conveyor Sections before dispatch and supplied mounted to a heavy-duty fabricated steel bracket designed specifically for our conveyor systems.
Available in 240V single-phase and 415V three-phase versions, the controller provides convenient operator control with Start, Stop, Forward, Reverse and variable speed adjustment as standard.
An integral rotary isolator is fitted, allowing the controller to be electrically isolated for maintenance and locked off using a suitable lock-off device where required.
When purchased together with our Emergency Stop Push Button Upgrade, the emergency stop is fully integrated into the controller, requiring operator intervention before the conveyor can be restarted following activation.

Important Information

- Supplied fully wired to the conveyor during manufacture.

- Final electrical connection to the customer’s electrical supply must be completed by a qualified electrician.
- Power plug, isolator and site wiring are not included.

Emergency Stop Compatibility Notice
When ordered with the Emergency Stop Push Button Upgrade, the emergency stop is integrated into the Variable Speed Controller to remove the conveyor run command and prevent automatic restart. Following activation, the emergency stop must be manually reset before conveyor operation can resume.
The emergency stop function supplied is intended for the control of the KCB Belt Conveyor only. The suitability of the emergency stop arrangement for the customer’s overall machine or production line, including compliance with applicable legislation and safety standards, remains the responsibility of the machine designer, system integrator or end user.
