About Belt Conveyors – What They Are & How They Work
A belt conveyor is a powered conveyor system that uses an electric motor to drive a continuous belt, moving items from one point to another with smooth, controlled motion. Unlike roller conveyors, belt systems can handle almost any product — including small, loose, irregular, unstable or soft items that would otherwise jam or fall between rollers.
Ideal for packing lines, production areas, machine in-feeds and end-of-line automation, belt conveyors offer a controlled, hands-free way to move items from A to B, saving time, labour, and layout complexity.
